Haris Anastasiou was previously a dancer for Cyprus in 1987. At the ESC, he came 14th. Yiannis Demetriou would have represented Cyprus in 1988 if their song had not been withdrawn because it had already taken part in the 1984 Cypriot Final. Evridiki was a backing singer for Cyprus in 1983, 1985 and 1987. Alex Panayi was a backing singer for Cyprus in 1989.
