The Swedish Semi-Finals were hosted by Marika Carlsson, Sarah Dawn Finer, Eric Saade & Kodjo Akolor. In the first 4 Semi-Finals there were two rounds of voting - the first to select the top 5 and the second to select the top 2 songs that qualified directly for the final and the 3rd & 4th placed songs that went forward to the 5th semi-final where they had a second chance to qualify for the final. In the 5th semi-final the songs competed in 4 duals - the winner of each dual qualified for the final. All the results were determined by a mobile phone app where users were split into one of 7 age groupings (7/8) & televoting (1/8). The first column of results contains the points awarded by the mobile phone app groupings & televoting which were decisive in determining the placings. The number of votes received is in the second column of results.

One of the members of 'The Lovers of Valdaro' was Erik Høiby who was a backing singer for Moldova in ESC 2018. Martin Stenmarck represented Sweden in ESC 2005.
