The Swedish Final was held on March 9th at the Friends Arena in Solna, hosted by Marika Carlsson, Sarah Dawn Finer, Eric Saade & Kodjo Akolor. Before the final there were 5 semi-finals - click here for details: SWEDISH SEMI-FINALS 2019 The winner was chosen by 8 international juries (50%) & a public vote (50%). The public vote consisted of a mobile phone app where users were split into one of 7 age groupings (7/8) & televoting (1/8).

John Lundvik previously was a backing singer for Anton Ewald in the 2013 Swedish Final & came 3rd in 2018. At the ESC he was 5th. Anna Bergendahl represented Sweden in ESC 2010. Arvingarna represented Sweden in ESC 1993.
