The Slovene Final was held at the RTVSLO TV Studios in Ljubljana on February 26th, hosted by Klemen Slakonja. Before the final there were 12 heats - click here for details: SLOVENE HEATS 2012 The winner was chosen in two rounds of voting. In the first round, the favourite song for each participant was chosen by televoting (50%) and an "expert" jury (50%). In the second round the winner was chosen by televoting.

Eva Boto came 17th at the 2nd ESC Semi-Final. Amongst her backing singers was Martina Majerle who represented Slovenia in ESC 2009.
