Glen Vella previously came 6th in the 2005 Maltese Final, took part in the 2008 Maltese Semi-Final, came 3rd in 2009 (in 'Q') & 2nd in 2010. At the 1st ESC Semi-Final he was equal 11th. One of the members of Baklava was Joseph Chetcuti who was a dancer for Malta in ESC 2007. Fabrizio Faniello represented Malta in ESC 2001 & 2006. Amongst the backing singers for J. Anvil was Donna McCaul who represented Ireland in ESC 2005.
