The Icelandic Semi-Finals were held at the Truenorth Film Studio in Reykjavík, hosted by Unnsteinn Manuel Stefánsson, Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir & Sigurður Þorri Gunnarsson. The top 2 in each semi-final, chosen by televoting & app voting qualified for the final. At the end of the 2nd semi-final an "expert" jury chose one additional song to qualify for the final as a 'wildcard'.
