"Scared of heights" - Hera Björk
The Icelandic Final was held on March 2nd at Laugardalshöll in Reykjavik, hosted by Unnsteinn Manuel Stefánsson, Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir & Sigurður Þorri Gunnarsson. Before the final there were two semi-finals - click here for details: ICELANDIC SEMI-FINALS 2024 The winner was chosen in two rounds of voting - in the first round the top 2 were chosen by televoting and app voting (50%) & an "expert" jury (50%) - these results were carried forward to the second round where the winner was chosen by televoting and app voting.

Hera Björk was previously a backing singer for Iceland at ESC 2008, 2009 & 2015 and represented Iceland at ESC 2010. She also took part in the 2007 Icelandic Semi-Finals, came 2nd in the 2009 Danish Final & 4th in the 2019 Icelandic Final. At the 1st ESC Semi-Final she was 15th.
