"Unbroken" - María Ólafsdóttir
The Icelandic Final was held on February 14th at Háskólabíó in Reykjavik, hosted by Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir, Guðrún Dís Emilsdóttir & Salka Sól Eyfeld. Before the final there were 2 semi-finals - click here for details: ICELANDIC SEMI-FINALS 2015 The winner was chosen in 2 rounds of voting - the first to select the top 2 and the second to select the winner. In the first round the voting was 50% televoting & 50% "expert" jury while in the second round the winner was chosen by televoting alone. Five out of the 7 songs were performed in their English versions in the final.

María Ólafsdóttir came 15th at the 2nd ESC Semi-Final. Amongst the backing singers for Cadem was Einar Ágúst Víðisson who represented Iceland in ESC 2000. One of the members of 'Björn & Félagar' was Pétur Örn Guðmundsson who was a backing singer for Iceland in ESC 2000, 2006, 2008, 2010 & 2012.
