ICELAND |
The Icelandic Semi-Finals were held at RUV TV Studios in Reykjavik, hosted by Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir & Guðrún Dís Emilsdóttir. The top 2 songs in each semi-final (chosen by televoting) qualified for the final. After both semi-finals were held an "expert" jury awarded a 'wildcard' to the final to two more songs.

Vignir Snær Vigfússon represented Iceland in ESC 2011 and was in the backing group for Iceland in ESC 2003. Guðrún Árný Karlsdóttir was a backing singer for Iceland in ESC 2012 - amongst her backing singers was Kristján Gíslason who represented Iceland in ESC 2001. Guðbjörg Magnúsdóttir was a backing singer for Iceland in ESC 2000.
