The Icelandic Semi-Finals were held at the RUV TV Studios in Reykjavik, hosted by Brynja Þorgeirsdóttir. The top 2 songs in each semi-final, chosen by televoting (50%) and an "expert" jury (50%) qualified for the final. At the end of the 3rd semi-final, a 'wildcard' for the final was awarded by the "expert" jury.
