The Austrian Final was held on February 20th at the ORF TV Studios in Vienna, hosted by Alice Tumler & Cesár Sampson. The winner was chosen by an international "expert" jury (50%) & televoting (50%).

Cosmó came 24th at the ESC. The drummer of Nikotin was Dominic Muhrer who represented Austria at ESC 2015 in the group 'The Makemakes'.
