"Even if" - Andy Abraham
The UK Final was held on March 1st at the BBC TV Studios in London, hosted by Terry Wogan & Claudia Winkleman. The performers were split into 3 categories - Girl Groups (LoveShy & The Revelations), Joseph vs Maria (Rob McVeigh & Simona Armstrong) and Soloists (Andy Abraham & Michelle Gayle). The winner was chosen in 3 rounds of voting. In the first round, the winner of each category plus one 'wildcard', all chosen by an "expert" jury, went forward to the second round. The 4 remaining performers were then reduced to 2 finalists (by televoting), before the winner was chosen, again by televoting.
