The Swiss Final was held on February 23rd at the Casino du Rivage in Vevey, hosted by Lolita Morena. The winner was chosen by 3 regional juries, a press jury & an "expert" jury.

Sandra Simo was previously a backing singer for Ann Lomar in the 1989 Swiss Final & came 8th in the 1990 Swiss Final. At the ESC she was 5th. Daniela Simons represented Switzerland at ESC 1986. Carol Rich represented Switzerland at ESC 1987.
