"Love symphony" - Quartissimo
The Slovene Final was held on February 1st at the RTVSLO TV Studios in Ljubljana, hosted by Maja Martina Merljak & Peter Poles. Before the final there was semi-final - click here for details: SLOVENE SEMI-FINAL 2009 The winner was chosen by a mixture of televoting (50%) and an "expert" jury (50%). Skupina Langa & Manca won the televote while Quartissimo won the "expert" jury vote.

The vocalist of Quartissimo is Martina Majerle who was previously a backing singer for Croatia in ESC 2003, Slovenia in ESC 2007 & Montenegro in ESC 2008. At the 2nd ESC Semi-Final Quartissimo were 16th. Omar Naber represented Slovenia in ESC 2005 while Karmen Stavec was a backing singer for Slovenia in ESC 1998 & represented Slovenia in ESC 2003.
