The Slovene Final was held on February 3rd at the RTVSLO TV Studios in Ljubljana, hosted by Bernarda Žarn & Mario Galunic. Before the final there were 2 semi-finals - click here for details: SLOVENE SEMI-FINALS 2008 The winner was chosen in two rounds of televoting - the first to select the top 2 and the second to select the winner.

Rebeka Dremelj previously came 10th in the 2004 Slovene Final, 3rd in 2005 & 4th in 2006. At the 1st ESC Semi-Final she was equal 11th. Cole (Moretti) represented Slovenia in ESC 1993 as lead singer of the group '1X Band'.
