"Vechniy strannik" - Youddiph

"Eternal wanderer I'm your fate, I know you remember me"

The Russian Final was held on March 12th at the Russian TV Studios in Moscow, hosted by Vadim Dolgachev. There were originally meant to be 11 songs in the contest, but 2 of them were disqualified before the actual final: "Oy-oy-oy" by Alena Apina was disqualified because the song had been performed prior to the contest and "Kogda ya vernus' v Rossiyu" by Vika Tsyganova was disqualified because she wanted to change her song. Both these songs were sung in the interval. The winner was chosen by a jury of 16 people (9 "experts" & 7 members of the public).
