The Portuguese Semi-Final was held on the RTP Website between January 19th & January 31st. The top 12 songs (chosen by online voting) qualified for the final. Miguel C. withdrew his song before the end of the voting due to accusations of voting irregularities. Pedro Duvalle was disqualified after the semi-final due to having performed his song in public before 01/10/2008.
