The Dutch Final was held on February 11th at the VARA TV Studios in Almere, hosted by Paul de Leeuw. Edsilia Rombley sang all the songs before choosing the winner herself.

Edsilia Rombley previously represented The Netherlands in ESC 1998. At the ESC Semi-Final she came 21st.
