The Maltese Final was held on March 23rd at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, hosted by Hector Bruno, Monica Attard, Charles Saliba & Anna Bonanno. Before the semi-final there were 2 semi-finals - click here for details: MALTESE SEMI-FINALS 1991 The songs were performed both in Maltese and English. The winner was chosen by an "expert" jury and only the top 3 were announced.

Georgina & Paul Giordimaina came 6th at the ESC. Helen Micallef represented Malta in ESC 1972 & Renato did the same in 1975.
