The Lithuanian Final was held on February 14th at the LRT TV Studios in Vilnius, hosted by Audrius Girzadas & Livija Gradauskiene. Before the final there were 2 semi-finals - click here for details: LITHUANIAN SEMI-FINALS 2009 The winner was chosen by regional televoting.

Sasha Son previously took part in the 2007 Lithuanian Semi-Finals (in the group 'U-Soul') & came 3rd in the 2008 Lithuanian Final. At the ESC he was equal 23rd performing his song in English/Russian as "Love". Linas Adomaitis represented Lithuania in ESC 2004.
