"Could it be that I'm in love" - Kim Jackson
The Irish final was held on March 30th at the RTE TV studios in Dublin, hosted by Pat Kenny. The winning song was chosen by the votes of 10 regional juries. At the end of the voting there was a tie between songs 5 & 7, therefore a special tie jury had to be used to decide which song would win.
