Silvía Nótt came 13th at the ESC Semi-Final where one of her backing singers was Sigríður Beinteinsdóttir who represented Iceland in ESC 1990, 1992 & 1994. Birgitta Haukdal represented Iceland in ESC 2003, Rúna Stefánsdóttir was a backing singer for Iceland in ESC 1999 and Regína Ósk was a backing singer for Iceland in ESC 2001, 2003 & 2005. Amongst the backing singers for Ardís Ólöf, Friðrik Ómar, Davíð Olgeirsson, Bjartmar Þórðarson & Birgitta Haukdal was Kristján Gíslason who represented Iceland in ESC 2001.
