The Finnish Final was held at the Leonardo Hall in Tampere on January 31st, hosted by Jaana Pelkonen & Mikko Peltola. Before the final there were 4 semi-finals - click here for details: FINNISH SEMI-FINALS 2009 The winner was chosen in two rounds of televoting - the first to select the top 3 and the second to select the winner.

Waldo's People included Karoliina Kallio who previously took part in the 2004 & 2005 Finnish Semi-Finals. At the ESC, Waldo's People came 25th. Jari Sillanpää represented Finland in ESC 2004.
