"Ela Ela" - Constantinos Christophorou
The Cypriot Final was held on February 1st at the Monte Caputo Nightclub in Limassol, hosted by Tassos Trifonos and Eleni Manousaki. Constantinos sang all the songs and the winner was chosen by a combination of televoting (60%) and an "expert" jury (40%) which included Evridiki (ESC 1992/1994) and winner of ESC 2004, Ruslana. "Ela ela" was the favourite with both and received 68% in the televoting - the placings of the other songs were not announced.

Constantinos previously represented Cyprus in ESC 1996 and 2002 (as lead singer of the group One). At the ESC he came 18th. One of his backing singers was Elina Konstantopoulou who represented Greece in ESC 1995.
