The Cypriot Final was held on March 13th at the International Conference Centre in Nicosia, hosted by Eirini Charalambidou. The winning song was chosen by the votes of a jury of 24 people.

Evridiki previously came 2nd in the 1990 & 1991 Cypriot Finals. She was also a backing singer for Cyprus in ESC 1983, 1985 & 1987. At the ESC, she came 11th.
