The Croatian Final was held on March 10th at Zagreb Fair, hosted by Bojana Gregoric & Duško Curlic. The winner was chosen by 5 regional juries, 4 televoting regions, internet voting and an "expert" jury. One of the juries initally made a mistake with their votes, and when they were corrected Vesna Pisarovic got an extra 12 points, Alen Vitasovic an extra 10, while Joy lost 12 points and Mladen Burnac lost 10. The corrected results appear below:

Vesna Pisarovic previously came equal 6th in the 2000 Croatian Final & 4th in 2001. At the ESC she was 11th. Goran Karan represented Croatia at ESC 2000.
