The Belgian Final was held on February 17th at the VRT TV Studios in Schelle, hosted by Bart Peeters. Before the final there were 4 semi-finals - click here for details: BELGIAN SEMI-FINALS 2002 The winner was chosen by an "expert" jury (1/6), Radio 2 jury (1/6), Radio Donna jury (1/6), European jury (1/6) & televoting (2/6).

Sergio was equal 13th at the ESC. Amongst 'The Ladies' accompanying Sergio were Ingrid Simons & Jody Pijper who were both backing singers for the Netherlands at ESC 1996.
