The Armenian Semi-Finals were held at the ARMTV Studios in Yerevan, hosted by Gohar Gasparyan & Andre who represented Armenia in ESC 2006. In the first semi-final, two songs chosen by an "expert" jury (indicated by a 'J') and the winner of the SMS voting (indicated by an 'S') qualified for the final. In the second semi-final, the "expert" jury chose three songs for the final. As the winner of the SMS voting in the second semi-final (Hayko) had already been chosen by the "expert" jury, the runner-up in the SMS voting qualified for the final.
