The Yugoslav Final was held on March 2nd at the Hotel Kvarner in Opatija, hosted by Oliver Mlakar, Ljiljana Trajkovska, Milanka Bavcon & Mica Orlovic. Korni Grupa previously came equal 3rd in the 1969 Yugoslav Final & 3rd in 1973. At the ESC they were 12th. Eva Srsen represented Yugoslavia at ESC 1970. Tereza Kesovija represented Monaco at ESC 1966 & Yugoslavia at ESC 1972.
