The Turkish Final was held at the Ari TV studios in Ankara on March 11th, hosted by Bülent Özveren & Güler Kazmaci. The winning song was chosen by 8 regional juries.

Kayahan Mazhar-Fuat-Özkan Sertab Altin & Klips Seden Kutlubay, Gür Akad & Jale Neco

Group Pan were Arzu Ece, Hazal Selçuk, Vedat Sakman & Saper Temiz. Arzu previously took part in the 1987 & 1988 Turkish Finals (in 1988 in the group Tema) and Vedat Sakman took part in the 1983 & 1987 Turkish Finals. Mazhar-Fuat-Özkan represented Turkey in both ESC 1985 & 1988. Klips (Gür Akad) represented Turkey in ESC 1986 while Seden Kutlubay won the 1986 Turkish Final as a member of the group Klips ve Onlar, however she refused to go to the ESC and was replaced by Candan Ercetin. Neco represented Turkey in ESC 1982. At the ESC, Pan came 21st.
