The Greek Final was held at the ERT TV Studios in Athens on March 31st, hosted by Dafni Bokota. All of the songs were presented as video clips and the winning song was chosen by an "expert" jury.

Marianna Efstratiou was previously a backing singer for Greece at ESC 1987. At the ESC, she came equal 9th. Anna Vissi represented Greece at ESC 1980 and Cyprus at ESC 1982.
