The German Final was held on February 21st at TV Studios in Frankfurt,
hosted by Edith Grobleben. The winning song was chosen by an "expert" jury.

Gitte previously took part in the 1962 & 1963 Danish Finals. At the ESC she was equal 8th. Tonia represented Belgian at ESC 1966.
