The Danish Final was held at the Tivoli Concert Hall in Copenhagen on February 28th, hosted by Jørgen Mylius. The winner was chosen in two rounds of voting by 5 regional juries - the first to select the top 5 and the second to select the winner.

Kirsten Siggaard Dario Campeotto Tommy Seebach

Drengene previously came 4th in the 1982 Danish Final & 3rd in 1986 (as Fenders). They renamed themselves Bandjo for the ESC, where they & Anne Cathrine Herdorf came equal 5th. Kirsten Siggaard was half of the duo Kirsten & Søren who represented Denmark at ESC 1984 & 1985. Dario Campeotto represented Denmark at ESC 1961. Tommy Seebach represented Denmark at ESC 1979 & 1981.
