The Belgian Semi-Finals were held at the Amerikaans Theater in Brussels, hosted by Staf Van Berendoncks. The finalists were chosen by the votes of 5 regional juries - in order to qualify for the final a song had to come in the top 3 in two consecutive semi-finals. The songs in the 7th semi-final had to achieve at least 377 points (the average score of the songs that qualified for the final from semi-finals 1-6) in order to qualify for the final.
