The UK Semi-Finals were held at the BBC TV Centre in London, hosted by David Jacobs. The top 3 songs in each semi-final (chosen by regional juries) qualified for the final. As there was a tie in the 2nd semi-final for 3rd place, 4 songs from the 2nd semi-final qualified for the final.
