The Portuguese Semi-Finals were held at the RTP TV Studios in Lisbon. Three songs in each semi-final qualified for the final - 2 chosen by televoting and 1 chosen by a jury made up of the composers of the participating songs. Diana's song was subsequently disqualified for having previously been released.
