The Norwegian Semi-Finals were held at the H3 Arena in Fornebu, Bærum, hosted by Kåre Magnus Bergh, Annika Momrak & Mikkel Niva. Annika Momrak missed semi-final 2 & Kåre Magnus Bergh missed semi-final 3 due to having covid. In each semi-final the songs competed against each other in two rounds of duels - the first to select the top 2 and the second to select the winner that qualified for the final. The twelve songs that didn't win their semi-final went forward to Second Chance which was held in two parts - in the first part held at the NRK Radio Studios in Oslo, the semi-final performances were repeated and the top 4 were chosen. Those four competed again with new performances in the second part where in the first round of duels all 4 songs competed against each other. The finalists were chosen by online voting.
