"That's how you write a song" - Alexander Rybak
The Norwegian Final was held on March 10th at the Spektrum in Oslo, hosted by Kåre Magnus Bergh & Silya Nymoen. The winner was chosen in three rounds of voting. In the first round the top 4 were chosen by televoting (50%) & 10 international juries (50%). In the second round the top 4 competed in duals - the winner of each dual, chosen by televoting, qualified for the third round where the winner was chosen by televoting.

Alexander Rybak previously represented Norway in ESC 2009. At the ESC he came 15th. Stella represented Norway in ESC 2011. Aleksander Walmann represented Norway in ESC 2017 with Jowst. Nicoline was a backing singer for Norway in ESC 2013 & 2016.
