"Chameleon" - Ira Losco
The Maltese Final was held on January 23rd at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, hosted by Ben Camille. Before the final there was a semi-final - click here for details: MALTESE SEMI-FINAL 2016 The winner was chosen by televoting (1/6) and an "expert" jury (5/6). On March 17th it was announced that the Maltese song had been replaced with "Walk on water".

Ira Losco previously represented Malta in ESC 2002. She also came 6th & equal 7th in the 2000 Maltese Final and 2nd, 4th, 9th & 11th in 2001. At the ESC she was equal 11th.
