The Israeli Final was held on February 13th at the G.G. TV Studios in Neve Ilan, hosted by Asi Azar & Rotem Sela. Before the final there were 31 shows which started on October 29th. The winner was chosen in two rounds of voting. In the first round the singers competed in duels - the winner of each duel was determined by a 5 member judging panel who could award 10% to each singer (50%) and a mobile phone app (50%). After the first round, the judging panel awarded a 'wildcard' to the second round to one of the singers who lost their duel. In the second round the winner was chosen by the 5 member judging panel & 4 "expert" juries (50%) and a mobile phone app (50%).
