The Israeli Semi-Finals were held at the Broadcast TV Studios in Holon, hosted by Orna Datz & Ron Shachar. The top 3 songs in the first 3 semi-finals, chosen by televoting (50%) and an "expert" jury (50%) qualified for the final, while the 4th placed song went forward to the 4th semi-final where the winner, chosen by televoting (100%) qualified for the final.
