The Hungarian Semi-Finals were held at the MTVA Studios in Budapest, hosted by Bogi Dallos & Gábor Alfréd Fehérvári. Before the final there were 3 quarter-finals - click here for details: HUNGARIAN QUARTER-FINALS 2019 Four songs in each semi-final qualified for the final in two rounds of voting. In the 1st round the top 3 were chosen by an "expert" jury of 4 people and a mobile phone application. In the 2nd round one more song was selected by televoting to qualify for the final. After the 2nd semi-final, Petruska was disqualified due to accusations of plagarism & replaced by the highest scoring non-qualifier over both semi-finals - Gergo Oláh.
