The French Final was held on January 30th at the La Plaine St Denis TV Studios near Paris, hosted by Stéphane Bern & Laurence Boccolini. The winner was chosen in two rounds of voting. In the first round, seven songs were chosen by televoting & one by an "expert" jury. In the second round the winner was chosen by televoting (50%) & an "expert" jury (50%).
