The Bulgarian Semi-Final was held on January 14th at the BNT TV Studios in Sofia, hosted by Milenita, Alexander Sano & Dragomir Draganov. The winner of the SMS vote & the winner of the "expert" jury vote both automatically qualified for the final. As DesiSlava won both, the runner-up in the SMS vote (Sofi Marinova) automatically qualified for the final. The other 10 qualifiers were chosen by a mixture of SMS voting (50%) and an "expert" jury (50%).
