"We are the heroes" - Litesound
The Belarussian Final was held on February 14th at the Sports Palace in Minsk, hosted by Denis Kurian & Leyla Ismailova. Before the final there was a semi-final - click here for details: BELARUSSIAN SEMI-FINAL 2012 The winner was chosen by televoting (50%) and an "expert" jury (50%). Alena Lanskaya won the televote while Litesound won the "expert" jury vote. On February 24th, Alena Lanskaya was disqualified due to allegations of vote-rigging.

Litesound previously came 6th in the 2006 Belarussian Final, took part in the 2007 Belarussian Semi-Final, took part in the 2008 Belarussian Final & came 3rd in 2009. At the 2nd ESC Semi-Final they were equal 15th. Uzari (Yuriy Navrotskiy) was a backing singer for Belarus in ESC 2011.
