The Austrian Shows were held at the ORF TV Studios in Vienna, hosted by Mirjam Weichselbraun. In the first show the singers performed either their own songs or cover versions. An "expert" jury chose the 6 finalists who performed more cover versions during the second show on February 27th. In the 3rd show the 6 finalists each performed 2 potential ESC entries - one song for each singer was chosen for the final by the "expert" jury.
